Catherine Weiss is a poet, artist, and publishing enthusiast from coastal Maine, currently living in Western Massachusetts.
Catherine’s poetry has been selected for publication in BOMB, DIAGRAM, Tinderbox, Up the Staircase, Fugue, Birdcoat, Bodega, Counterclock, petrichor, HAD, Taco Bell Quarterly, and elsewhere.
They are the author of three full-length collections of poetry, the most recent being Big Money Porno Mommy from Game Over Books in 2025, as well as chapbook-length poem Fervor, published by Ginger Bug Press in 2021.
They have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, the Best New Poets anthology, and Best of the Net anthology. Catherine’s work has been selected as finalist for the Button Poetry Chapbook Contest, the Jack McCarthy Book Award, the Maine Literary Award for Poetry, and the BOMB Magazine poetry contest.
Catherine has created cover art for dozens of books, chapbooks, and zines, including Home Free by Aparna Paul, Chokecherry by Lyd Havens, God Mornings, Tiger Nights by Nuha Fariha, Burnout Diary by Abby Hosterman, Food Porn by Sienna Liu, and Utopians in Love by Bob Sykora.
