These Books Are Not For Sale
This is a publishing experiment. Worse aims to publish 1-3 titles a year, to see what it feels like to publish poetry books and then gift them to readers. No, you can’t buy a Worse book, but you can just have one if you ask. No, this doesn’t make financial sense. No, it won’t make any money, but it also won’t LOSE money because you can’t LOSE what you gift intentionally. Yes, authors with Worse Press are paid a modest stipend/advance. Yes, I know this sounds fake but Worse Press is not a joke. And no, it’s not sustainable, but what in life actually is?
